THE MIDWAY DAUNTLESS WAS A LAKE MICHIGAN RECOVERY THE RESTORATION WORK WAS QUESTIONABLE AT BEST :cry: AFTER ITS DELIVERY IT WAS ATTEMPTED TO BE TOWED TO THE MUSEUM AT WHICH POINT THE TAIL WHEEL TRUNION BROKE OFF.IT SEEMS THAT THE SEVERE CORROSION WAS REPAIRED WITH A BIG GLOB OF BONDO :shock: THE MUSEUM AQUIRED A REAL A-24 AT WHICH TIME THE SBD WAS SENT OFF TO ITS CURRENT SITE.THE A-25 IS MAKING STEADY PROGRESS,PARTS FOR THE RUDDER ARE COMMING ALONG ALSO FINNISHING UP THE AILERONS.IM HOPING TO HAVE IT FINNISHED BY MID JUNE BUT WHO KNOWS FOR SURE STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES :wink: THANKS MIKE
