Wow that F4U-5N looks Great! I can't wait to see it. REally glad to see that the radar was put on. I wish that the other -5N's had them on. A real finishing touch. Way to go CF!

A Bearcat has arrived and also an R-3350 Sea Fury just out of the shop with some new skin and still needing paint-NX1324. A Spanish 109 flew in Thursday. The tag says the owners are Harold and Linda Kindsvater. Several Avengers are here and the L-birds and Red Star trainers are thick. I was hoping to see the new Nemisis racer but it had some techinical problems with the gear and is a no show. There wzas a two ship P-51 aerobatic act on Thursday. The naked Fanny skyraider is here an I saw an Albatross(Grumman variety) fly in yesterday. Also a Howard 500 is here again.

I am jealous of those at Oshkosh, but for the benefit of those not there, you can find pictures of the Sea Fury here...

...which were taken at Geneseo a few weeks ago. I just move those pics to the top of the album, so it may take Webshots a little which to make the changes in the public album.

There is a P-26 fuselage (fill size)over in the replica warbird section. The CAF has a couple of pieces from the tail of their C model on display and are seeking donations for a rebuild. Haven't seen any other C models but I'm still looking Have to leave today. Steve Culp has a near Stearman size sorta Sopwith Pup with a Russian m14p radial,

You can also count on me shooting every angle possible of the TP-51C.

So Axis Nightmare is no more eh? I have some pics of Axis Nightmare taken at Wings Over Houston 2001 and next to Miss Mitchell was my 2nd favorite B-25 of 7 that showed. Will also have other Warbird pics taken plus others uploaded soon.

Pacific Prowler is the ex-"Top Secret", not "Axis Nightmare".

Phew. Never seen "Top Secret" but thats a relief.

I don't think "Top Secret" made it out much. After the Doolittle Reunion in California I think it pretty much sat in a hangar in Texas. It's nice to see it out and about again!

BTW, this was an ex-Tallmanz ship. Included with the sale was one of the Cinerama noses.

I checked on the Mustang parking area on the way back to pack up camp and finally say the new 2 seater. They had a tarp over the cockpit but luckily right before I left they pulled off the cover. Man what a beauty!

The Radial Rocket sounds cool. My guess would be that it's another design based around the Russian M-14P 9-cylinder radial(?).
They have a website!

Jeez Louise! (used in place of more exuberant langauge,(i.e. HFS)) That totally smokes the RV4(my former favorite kit, now). Their site needs to get more specific though. I'm kinda having a hard time believing that 43k includes engine and prop. O.K., I don't believe that would include an engine and prop. Anyone got the lowdown on that engine? Price, availability, ect?

Looks like the base price for the 360hp version is just over $24,000.
