I wrote that article. She is due to be shipped out to Udvar Hazy for re-assembly in May. It'll probably take a month to get her put together for her unveiling in June.

I was there on Saturday as well and the guides on the floor said that it would be June 1st......

Quick question..

anyone know if the june 1st is solid date?

Are they doing this for a particular special celebration/veteran's group or
something or is it just a "homecoming" party for the P-61 @ NASM?

Either way I can't wait to see it... :-).
