"What...?"

I don't know who this spammer, WilliamKaf, is, but I wish evil things upon him.

I would not support putting his dripping severed head on a spike at the entrance to Silicon Valley, in case anyone suggests it. But they'd have my sympathies.

Dave Hadfield wrote:"What...?"

meaning: "Anytime now Mr. William" can go take a hike and like in the video he has no need to be sorry for he shall feel the wrath.

"Thunder roars its booming wrath,
lightning splits the darkling sky,
Ground trembles, mountains shake,
raging waves rise in fury, to dash to
pieces the trembling man, cowering
before the wrath, the raging storm,
Begs for mercy, cries in pain, lightning
smites his prostrate form, earth cracks
and swallows him, waves falling, rushing
in, Man is gone, destroyed in fire, and the earth
stills, the clouds depart, the waves recede to
ocean deep, this the fate of he who walked
the sacred ground."

but that's just me ... 8)

Sad indeed, to see the website spammed like this, by some "Wucking Fanker" which is not a NATO code name for a Russian Jet.

What would be a ballpark annual cost to host WIX on a more secure location? I know Scott takes donations for expenses, but perhaps a move elsewhere is needed. I don't see the level of spamming on other forum sites.

The issue is initial account verification and then moderation. There are more secure account activation steps available that will help prevent them from signing up and then posting. It can be made harder for a spammer to sign up and then their first posts can be held for review before hitting the page. For the ones that do get through you have to have moderators present to clean the junk up.

You'd think a guy who's apparently pushing an issue wouldn't go out of his way to be such an a$$ and not win any friends.

Good clean up job. Almost turned into two page of junk there for a while. Back to normal until the next spammer shows up.

I'm thinking Scott and the Mods need help with a faster response time. I nominate Carla as our first response shock trooper.
She's the last person...therefor the only person, to have a pager with the Bugtussle Greater Phone Co-Op insuring excellent threat reply.
Just call Carla...McScuse Me??...

CARLA IS PRECISE! With surgical precision she will excise Spam with utmost speed. No more of those pesky friendly fire/collateral
damage nuke incidents. She'll hit the perps so hard their grandkids will feel it.
