I was just reminded to be at Nashua on saturday morning by an E-mail from our Sq. commander.

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!!!!!
The Warbirds Squadron 7 monthly meeting this saturday Apr. 15th is at 1100 hrs at the nashua airport. KASH
Due to important business and a suprise event, everyone is expected there. NO EXCEPTIONS!
We really need support this weekend DONT BE LATE!

I think im going to blow off a family B-day party to go.
I asked what the big event was and nobody would tell me.

Nope!

I was unsure what the day was all about until I got there. The e-mails I sent were never answered and I ended up blowing off a family B-day party to be able to attend. The important squadron business was the fact that they have received the new decals for squadron aircraft. They are not all that inexpensive being $25 each or 3 for $60.

The big event was a presentation to a member for becoming a U.S. Citizen. Richard Dupe'e was I guess you would call it, Naturalized?
A flag that was hung on the flagpole at Hanscom AFB was installed into a display box, which was presented to him that afternoon.

As for the GWF, not knowing what the event was until that saturday morning really burned his as$. He layed into both Frank and Tom via telephone about this "Big Event" not being "Warbird Related". After substatially pissing off all the other members who showed up on time, a small gray dot was seen on the horizon. Here comes Chris!

Then off to lunch we all went!
