I saw the night show last night and will post some picture tonight after work. I plan on seeing the F-22 being flown there on Sunday.
Thanks for the comment on the pics.

Chuck,

some really great pic's you have there. Thanks for posting them.

Quick question. The pic of the King Cobra, is that flyable, being restored, or just a static aircraft that was brought out for "decoration" ? Anyone have any info on that one. The AirCobra's and King's are really kind of a rare breed in flying condition.

Paul

Wasn't the Tempest restored to airworthy condition? Looks like it's been on outdoor display since it was completed a couple of years back. Would love to see that one fly. 8)

The Heritage Flight with the F15, P51 & F22 was, of course, neat to see. (Sorry the pics weren't taken with a better quality camera....)

Good fireworks display!

The Aeroshell T-6 team put a very loud and impressive show!

I use a 4 Mega pixel Canon elf for most of my pictures because it fits in my pocket! It really just helps to be in the right place at the right time with good lighting to get good pictures. Thanks again for the compliments.

I can answer that. First post here, the EXIF data tells me that it was a Canon Powershot S400.

The Tempest is not restored and looks pretty rough up close. I would love to seeit fly too.
I have not been on the airshow ramp since wed, But I would guestimate that there were no more than 6 P-51s there. Max Chapman's P-51s flew out back to Kissimmee yesterday evening. "Heller Bust" is on display there in front of Flying magazine tent.

:D Great show!
Didnt have the pass to get onto the flight line so we tried several times to sneak pass the guards
This was the first time I saw a heritage flight so I thought that was neat especially when the F-15, P-51 and F-22 come overhead and split off and turn on afterburners! :D
After a while I went into the meuseam and went back to the B-29 nose section. A guy there pointed out most everything in the bombadier station and then we swaped stories.
In all a great show.
Next year Ill find out how to get on the flight line if it kills me!

A little late on the thread, but there was also a 2nd Albatross on the field during the week (for sale, asking 650k), the Black Cat PBY, and an E-2C Hawkeye with the new 8-bladed props.

Also, beside the F-15C demo team, there were 2 F-15As, an A-10, 2 F-16s, an F-14, a T-1, a T-6 Texan II, a C-130, and a T-34C, all from active or reserve units, on static display. The F-14 will be standing down at the end of April.

T-34 numbers were up from recent years despite overall lower nos. of WBs. There was a good mix on the fighter ramp that, with the active/reserve aircraft, was filled to capacity.

A good time was had by all....except for the SNJ/JD Gator encounter...

That is the heavy iron! As of Wednesday, I counted 6 DC-3s and 1 Albatross. I dont know if anything else has flown in since.
There was a Maserati that drove into the grass parking lot yesterday that started a fire that burned up 10 cars.
Cavanaugh has both of their Bell 47s there, TBM, P-40, and DC-3.
The night airshow is tonight. The F-22 is supposed to be displayed for the next three days.
