Jack Kosko's UC-78 restoration will hopefully be in the air by mid-to-late 2016.

John did you take any pictures of Pat Harker's Twin Mustang that you would be allowed to post on WIX? I understand if Pat Harker doesn't want anything posted, but just asking. I was at his hangar clear back in 2005 so has been 10 years ago. At that time the Twin Mustang was just getting going. It will be incredible to see 2 Twin Mustangs in the air.
Jim H thanks for the feedback regarding Collings B-17 and P-38. I hope to get to fly in that B-17 someday. Your trip to Europe and the pictures you took were simply awsome Jim.

Not a warbird, but the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome's very accurate "Spirit of St. Louis" reproduction could be flying just about any day now.

Thank you for mentioning this (I've posted some links on the "vintage" page). I've been watching this effort with great anticipation for years. They've done a heck of a job and the plane looks just about perfect inside and out. I think they are planning a first flight in the spring...

There are reports that the ORA Spirit of St. Louis flew today...!

Yes it did! Some early videos and photos here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/oldrhinebeckaerodrome/ Project-leader and head-mechanic at ORA, Ken Cassens, was at the controls.

BF-109E 'White 14'
Shuttleworth Collection Spitfire V AR501
Shuttleworth Collection Sopwith Camel
Shuttleworth Collection Sopwith Triplane (after landing accident in 2014)
Duxford-based Westland Lysander
Aero Legends Spitfire T.IX
BHHH Spitfire IX- the Collings Foundation machine
Hawker Hurricane P3717
Hawker Hurricane P2902
DH-9
Spitfire V EP122
Possibly Hangar 11's Spitfire IX too.

Well, with the year nearly coming to an end, out of the above list, only two have flown this year; them being Spitfire V 'EP122' and Spitfire IX 'BR601'. Though 'White 14' has commenced engine runs, the Shuttleworth Camel and Triplane are fully assembled and ready and Hurricane 'P3717' is also awaiting paperwork.

The Cubs may finally win the World Series first...

Don't think it's quite that remote of a prospect....you may be thinking of the MAAM's P-61.....

Most significantly of all, the CUBS did WIN the World Series. Guess that means that literally anything is possible!!!!

Which leaves the question, did young Brandon throw out a few $$$$ betting on them? Making room for a 51 next to the T-6...
