B-25C 41-13251 at Lancaster, CA

Located at the Milestones of Flight Museum, this ex-Hughes B-25C (N3968C) has been cleaned up and received new paint. Apparently this was done last year some time but it looks much better. The wing panels are still off (are they even available?). This airplane was last flown in the mid-70s when Fish Salmon ferried it up from the Hughes Airport at Culver City. The Hughes A-20 was transferred to the museum at the same time but it went by truck.

It would be great to see a few more early models of B-25s take to the air. What direction did the A-20 go? was the the one the CAF had or the one for sale? Maybe a different all together?

The A-20 (43-22197, N34920) that was at Lancaster is now owned by Kermit Weeks and is in storage at Ocotillo Wells at the Aero Trader facility. From what I understand, the A-20 was traded for hangar construction at the museum.
