I'd love to get some info on the SB2C crash in VT if you would not mind sharing some of it and also see what Larry is willing and can share about it.

I look forward to making the trip! Thanks for putting this together!

Tim

Hey Tim,

Larry is going to sit down with us and go over the maps and all of his information.

These Spring New England Wixs things are become an anual thing so maybe next year we can come up with something new like you guys come up to Maine to go to Owls Head beleive me its worth the trip.

Kelly and I may end up in Maine for good next year. I'm not sure but we're being priced out of NY and want to be closer to Kelly Sisiter's if they do end up moving there also.

Need a bit more help on this address, it the airport "WST"? Can you give a town also?

Is there a good spot at the airport to meet up? I'm not sure how large it is but I'd rather not wast a ton of time driving around it looking for you all.

Looks like Kelly will be going also.

First I’d like to thank Larry Webster for giving up a Saturday and entertaining (and educating us) on some very interesting New England aviation history gone bad. It really sinks in how many young men gave their all training to go to the front lines. Looking back at my Navy days all my Air Wing’s aircraft looses were during training verse operations in the Persian Gulf, I guess something’s don’t change. After getting the tour of the countless and unidentifiable wrecks in his back yard we went to the Quonset Air museum for a guided tour. Work has started on the F6F that was recovered off the Mass Coast and work continues on several aircraft. It is clear that the staff are hard at work and doing a great job getting the aircraft back into display condition.

We then all ended the trip with a great meal at a local restaurant. Sorry the name escapes me right now but it was good food for a good price. The only catch was we had to take our shoes (or boots) off to sit down at the table. Kelly and I had a great time and can’t wait to get together again soon!

Tim,

Thanks for the webshots walkaround of the old XF15 Stringaree--one of my
