Any idea on the completion date of P-51A Polar Bear

Wed Jan 18, 2017 11:27 pm

Anyone have a rough idea when the P-51A known as Polar Bear might return to the Wild Blue Yonder? Also who might be the current owner of Polar Bear? I have a real soft spot for the P-51 as I had the honor and privlege 30 years ago on July 4th 1987 to fly with Moon Spillers in this very aircraft. VCR Camcorders were just starting to come into their own, and I have the footage of us flying low and fast down the runway in Bryan OH. where I still live. Yeah this was my first Mustang Flight as well. Also while on the subject of the early Mustangs anyone know what might be the next A,B, or C Model Mustang to fly that is currently being restored? OK Mr. Terrell or Mr. Harley chime in.

You can ask the Muszala's on their FB page ;-) They post regular info on Polar Bear as it is in their shop.

Next A, B, or C flying should be Lope's Hope, rebuild being completed by Air Corps Aviation up here in MN.

I'll try and remember to send Dusty an email asking.
