While good news, I would expect as much.
In terms of operational aircraft types, 52 years isn't that long ago.
With preservation efforts being what they are, I would expect that several examples of 60s types would remain, especially in a country like the UK with a national collection and many local/regional museums.

Brought back many memories of that era, especially the Blackburn Beverley, Griffon power of the Shackleton and the Twin Pioneers. Watching the segment of where they were conducting a live firing practice on the SLR's without a pair of protective earmuffs in sight evoked painful thoughts of permanent hearing damage, chronic tinnitus and the legacy of having to live with sub-standard hearing ever since. This was the era of the "Real men don't need ear protection" policy and the sharp bark of a 7.62x51 in your ear was the undeniable cause of high-tone loss for many service personnel.

Still - an interesting time to live through, and many happy days.
