March Air Classics 2017

Anyone got a copy that would be willing to scan an article from this issue for me? Just found out at work last night that it has an article that has some relevance to me, re: my AT-21. I've hit all my usual sources to buy a copy, but all of them are out. I'll order a copy when I get home in a few hours, but would like to have a copy to read for now, until the order gets here in a few weeks.

I've got that issue - and a scanner, but the only reference that I see to a Fairchild AT-21 in the magazine is a single photo with a caption mentioning that the "less-than-successful AT-21 formed the basis for the XBQ-3." The actual article is about the XBQ-3 flying bomb and one in particular that lost power during a manned test flight and crash-landed in a field of a farm near Trotwood, OH on July 19, 1944. Is that the one you want? PM me with an e-mail address - and confirmation that that's the article you want.

Coincidentally, I am not far from Burlington, NC where the primary Fairchild AT-21 assembly line was located. In fact, I know exactly where it was. The airport that used to be there is long gone - they built a Wal-Mart on part of the old runway.
