I am restoring TBM N9569Z serial 91436 that was operated by Desert Aviation Specialties in 1963.I have found a picture from 1982 with wings removed but would like some earlier pictures in it's tanked days. I want to thank John Lane for providing the history on my TBM.If anyone has any info. or pictures please let me know. Thanks,Charlie

HI I HAD A NICE VISIT WITH CHARLIE YESTERDAY :D I GAVE HIM THE NICKLE TOUR OF ANE AND MY HANGAR/PROJECTS  .WE WERE WONDERING HOW ABOUT A WIX SECTION ON WORKING WARBIRDS ?
AFTER ALL IF IT WASENT FOR THE SPRAYER/TANKERS, FRIEGHTERS,FISH HAULERS ECT. THE WARBIRD POPULATION WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS TODAY! ARE THERE ENOUGH PHOTOS OF COMMERCIAL OPERATED WARBIRDS TO MAKE UP A NEW PHOTO GALLERY?SOME OF THE PAINT JOBS WERE VERY ATTRACTIVE AND SOME WERE NOT.HOW MANY OF THESE A/C WOULD STILL SURVIVE IF IT WERENT FOR THE CREATIVITY OF THE POST WAR OPERATORS?IF YOU HAVE PHOTOS PLEASE DIG THEM OUT AND SHARE THEM WITH US.I AM VERY DRAWN TO THE TBM/TANKERS THAT OPERATED DURING THE 60S N 70S :D ANY OTHER THOUGHTS?PLEASE POST THANKS MIKE

Charlie:
Unfortunately I don't have a picture of your aircraft but I will update the Registry entry and let you know if I get one.

I was actually thinking along those lines about creating a gallery section for fire bombers/sprayers divided by company. If someone wants to help make a list of companies that operated warbirds then I will see about creating a section for that. You can send info and pictures to submit@REMOVETHISwarbirdregistry.org (and please delete the REMOVETHIS before you hit send)
