Just in case nobody has seen over on Flypast Historic forum, this Spitfire mk1 is being readied for going to America. They haven't said where in particular.

USAFM, Smithsonian....who else has that kind of $$$ to buy a flying example and park it.

There is no link other than the Aircraft Restoration Co's Facebook page reporting about the move. Nobody knows where exactly it is going, hence all the speculation.
