In the northeast we are seeing some aircraft quietly being sold to go west probably never to be seen at our local air shows which I understand. I would currently love to see a a-26 invader flying make its way up to our parts. Is there any within striking distance to New England where they may do a tour or airshow?

When it returns to flying condition in the next few months (if not sooner), Tim Savage's A-26 "Silver Dragon" is normally based in Huntington, IN and would be available for booking at airshows I am pretty sure.

Douglas A-26C "
Spirit of NC" (
N6840D) based in Wilmington, NC is currently for sale. It was recently featured in Air Classics magazine - it's in a Korean War black scheme with red trim, stenciling, etc. I don't think that it has flown for a couple of years now, but probably just because of money and/or age of crew - that's why it's for sale as far as I know.

How about that b-26 invader they are restoring to flying condition? I've tried to locate a a-26 shirt to buy in support of some organizations but nothing pops up. Any help would be great

Ryan thank for the help! I flew with you with the collings foundation in the northeast leg right before Jamie took over. I hope all is well.
