More specifically, looking for pictures of it taken between 1969-1978.

Was this plane ever painted with the name Archaeopteryx?

Does anybody know if it's still at MAPS in Ohio?

Thanks in advance.

44-30234 in June 1970 while owned by Lynn Florey and Donald Ericson of New Brighton, Minnesota. Reportedly marked as I See No Problem but that's not evident from this photo. As per the FAA civil registry file, this B-25 was sold (transferred?) to Archaeopteryx Corp., also of New Brighton, shortly after this photo was taken, in September 1970.

See also B-25 Mitchell in Civil Service at http://www.aerovintage.com/b25.htm.

Would this be the Tallichet airplane that used to be in Bedford, MA?

Does it still have its coat of house paint, and Gordy Fornell's name on the left side?

If you go to http://www.airliners.net and search for N3161G you will find three photos of it. Is this plane still flying on the east coast? Col. ROHR, front and center....

This aircraft was in Bedford, MA for the Hanscom AFB open houses in September 1992 (hard nose) and June 1993 (glass nose).

I'm pretty sure I have a picture of it in NY in 1994. I'll dig it up. It had a glass nose and I think it was going to get its 100 hour inspection (or something) at the Empire State Aero... Museum.

Is this the a/c that was (is) going to flown with the HAG at Geneseo? I know they would operate it like the Belle but not own. What ever happened to that deal and with the A-26?

Tim

I believe I have photos of this B-25 at Bridgeport, CT in the early 90's with the name "Snow White" in Vinyl stick on letters. It was touring with Tallichet's roving troop of aircraft, including the B-24, B-17, P-51, and Avenger. The B-17 and B-24 were later grounded at the Bradley Field FSDO for over a year due to the unsafe nature of the airframes.

It is not at MAPS and hasn't been for years. I believe it is still sitting outside at Lancaster, Ohio.
