That does seem to be how they do it. As a result the museum is full of wonderful but rather tired looking planes. Sometimes they do pull one out and refurbish it. The Albatros is a currently active example. I'm just glad when they survive long enough to be retired without being wrecked.

Speaking of wrecked, it was nice to hear that the Dolphin is progressing. Apparently this is one of those rebuilds that has taken so long that at some point, the early work done on it has to be redone because it has either deteriorated or is no longer up to current standards. I believe that happened with the NYP as well. But anyway the plane is not on display and I think is nearing the home stretch in some off-limits workshop. It will still have the Hispano engine.

Sources have hinted to me that the Owls Heads Sopwith Pup may very well be returning to ORA. :)
