I agree with Dan when he said . . .

. . . but since the subject was brought up, I'd like to add something for the benefit of those persons that weren't around at the time of Viet Nam, and those persons in other countries that seem to think that everything that is wrong in the world is the fault of the United States.
First off - Viet Nam - Have you ever heard of S.E.A.T.O., the South East Asian Treaty Organization. Like N.A.T.O., it obligates the U.S., and other nations, to help defend any signer of that treaty against any and all aggressors. But, of course, that's never taken into consideration when someone thinks they're being real smart in attacking the U.S. about Viet Nam. Also, the American military didn't faulter or lose the conflict in that country, the corrupt and cowardly politicians in this country and Viet Nam lost it. And, a few of those same politicians from this country, along with a lot of new ones, are still in office, just as corrupt and just as cowardly as they were back then. And the worse part is that they're trying to do the same thing again.
They live and run their lives in fear of political polls, and they don't care about this country at all. They only care about the power they've created for themselves. I'm always embarrassed when I think that Massachusetts is part of the U.S. and keeps electing that fat a**, s.o.b., Kennedy and his family.
And another thing, don't apply this Politically Correct B*** S*** of today to the way things were back in the 1940s. If people back then did the things these P.C. a** holes do today, we'd be speaking German as our primary language.
The United States taxpayers are still owed millions upon millions of dollars from countries that we've helped, even from the World War Two period. But we'll never get it back because of our bleeding heart liberals in government that think
WE should be under the control of the U.N., and the American taxpayers should be responsible for taking care of all the indigents in the world.
All wars are he**, and they'll never be anything but he**. But some have to be fought and they NEVER go as planned.
So, to all of those self-edifying people that think it's so cool and righteous to demean the U.S.A., even those in this country, KISS MY A** and I'll see you in HE**.
