"Unbroken" B-25

Sun Nov 12, 2017 6:59 pm

This page has some info and images of a B-25 used in the filming of the film "Unbroken". Anyone know it's history and what happened to the fuselage after filming?

I'm not sure if that's an actual B-25 fuselage..there are several things about it that look "wrong." Some of our members who are more familiar with the Mitchell's structural details may have better assessments.

B-24 not B-25 ;) It says right in the article that it is a replica. Looks quite convincing though.

I don't recall a B-25 in the film.

Cool article, thanks.

The movie set guys used the trashed B-25 fuselage to mock-up a B-24 waist window for a scene where Zamperini escapes from the ditched a/c.
