Scott, that's not Photoshop'. That was the North American-Pitts Special to test the feasibility of a turbine powered biplane for the USAF to enter in aerobatic competitions. :axe:

Stay tuned for its inverted ribbon-cutting and aerobatic flippy-dips at Oshkosh 2018!

Notice the cockpit is moved rearward...cuts down on room for the turbine.
Also, the tailwheel...:)

The engine has been moved forward, so the pilot gets a hot seat!

Which was an option on my Mercedes SL...
No wonder we won the war.

Nice looking Beaver....now I'd like to see a real Twin Otter....:)
Likewise, Twin Bonanza, Twin Pioneer, Twin Navion or Twin Stinson (the original name for the Piper Apache).

If anyone has too much time on their hands, how about an F-104 in the shape of a P-38...or F-86/F-82? :)

Ever seen a Twin Champ? I've only seen one myself.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't add this earlier...The Twin Ercoupe!
http://www.twinnavion.com/oddballs.htm

The website also mentions the Twin Seebee conversion (the appearance of one prompts an off-color reference to Amelia Earhart in Caddyshack ...don't tell TIGHAR members:) ).

Also, the famous Twin Cub, plus two I hadn't seen before, the Twin Tri-Pacer (does that make it a six-pack?) And a Twin Mooney.

Still, the Twin Ercoupe wins the spirit of the F-82 award. The link shows one in New Mexico (not the original), it would be fun for someone to restore it and fly it in Twin Mustang markings to match the F-82 being restored to flight.

Do you have any information on airframe or registration? I'm not finding anything myself. Pretty sure those are J34 pods though.
