Old Huey still in service

Although still an operational military type, it's certainly old enough to be considered historic...
A UH-1H Twin Huey operated at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington just reached an almost unbelievable 18000 flight hours.

The aircraft has spent most of its service life at the base supporting the USAF survival school which had a facility on base but also operates in the Selkirk Mountains north of the base, not far from the Canadian border.

I believe that is a UH-1N not an H model.

Yes, typo on my part. I meant an 'N". A Fairchild N was provided my first helicopter ride...

There are plenty of UH-1 variants in the air now, but the one in first post here is noteworthy as the USAF still flies her. I didn't think there were any left in military operation.
