Where is Spitfire Mk XVI SL542?

Sun Apr 22, 2018 9:19 pm

I heard a rumor that SL542 has left Canada and gone back home. Can anyone confirm where it is/where it's gone? (Hoping nobody is going to give it a "high back"...) geek

Yes I saw it at Enstone Peter, and I wondered where it went to after. Is there any updates on it’s progress?

VWC Spitfire MkXVI SL721 went to Belgium not to long ago. Is that what you are thinking of?

Hi Sean,

No this is a different one, an ex-gate guard that hasn't flown in a long time. It was a project in Quebec for a few years and then disappeared.

Thanks for the info, Peter.
