This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Now did anyone get any shots around Aero Trader, or the Tallichet boneyard this year?
I tried to get some stuff from behind Aero trader, but I couldn't get much. There was the nose of a B29, 3 T28s fuselages and an AD4 Skyraider with no outer wings. I have pics, but I haven't gotten to that card yet.

White 33 is a P-38 owned by Jim Slattery.
Thank you, sir.

What am I seeing here ... looks like the wings are flexing and rippling the skins on the C-47...?
Wonderful, wonderful stuff for a pair of tired eyes -- thanks so much for all you do, Vagabond (and Blackbirdfan too)!!

Was it Frenzy?
Feeling like a broken record, Frenzy doesn't fly and there aren't intentions of flying it

Man! At the risk of sounding redundant redundant...thank you so much to all of you posting the spectacular photos of so many aircraft we over here on the other coast will most likely never see in the air.
Fantastic! Very grateful

As Pogo mentioned, that appearance of texture on the wings is strange. The outer panels look like the texture of the exterior of MK 80 series GP bombs, and the invasion stripe area looks like huge expanded metal mesh. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that before. Well, regardless...Great photos everyone, thanks for sharing them Folks! POF, never a disappointment when they fly!

No sugar. Just because something hasn't flown for a while doesn't mean it won't fly at some point (Nichols collection of ramp anchors for instance).. But I'd still like to know what one was supposed to have shown up.

I’ve finished posting photos and videos to my SmugMug Airshow gallery from the 2018 POF Airshow.

Oooh, very very frightening!

Most of the airplanes have been shown here already, nice shots all. Some B-25 action from Sunday.

I know what you're saying, never thought Yanks would fly anything... But I've been in contact with some of the people over at Lyon and every time I question when Frenzy's gonna fly I get a resounding not anytime soon

When Bill owned it, he had two Conexs & a basement full of parts/spares (I remember at least three pallets of NOS cylinders in boxes). When it came back to LA from the guy he sold it all to, the parts weren't part of the deal. That might have some bearing on the decision.

Heard a rumor that the Planes of Fame B25 is heading across the pond soon. Is there any truth in this?

I've heard a couple organizations in the US were/have been tapped to try and get a B-25 across the Atlantic for filming the new Catch-22 series.
