Wonderful video, beautifully shot. I teared up at the end.

My father was in the 12th Troop Carrier Squadron during the invasions of North Africa and Sicily. Someday I have to go up in a C-47 to get at least a tiny hint of his experience.

Luckily not that difficult, or expensive, to do.
I know the Historic Flight Foundation out of Everett does DC-3/C-47 flights.

Might I also suggest getting a USAAF/USAF C-47 "Dash-1" pilot's operating handbook...I have my late father's and it interesting to read all the things he had to know....
