Anyone have a preliminary list of C-47s going to UK/France?

Just wondering who and how many North American-based Douglas' are headed east for the 75th anniversary of D-Day?

Thanks.

I'm impressed, there are a lot of aircraft from the U.S. and many in D-Day markings.

Turin Aviation Group's recently returned-to-flight C-47 N834M, one of the participants listed (photos on the website show it in dated civilian paint), is currently being painted into D-Day markings as well, ahead of the event next year, including imperfect invasion stripes applied with brushes (as was done on the newly painted "That's All Brother" as well).

Of the 33 C-47's/C-53's/Dakotas currently listed as participating, there are at least 9 which are said to have participated in the original D-Day invasion:

- "Drag 'Em Oot"
- "Placid Lassie"
- "Tico Belle"
- "That's All Brother"
- N147DC (nicknamed "Mayfly")
- "Virginia Ann"
- "D-Day Doll"
- SE-CFP "Daisy"
- PH-PBA "Prinses Amalia"

Aces High also publicly made a callout/request back in January for any information/photos of how their C-47 (N147DC) 42-100884 would have looked at the time of D-Day, and if by chance it originally had any nose art/name at the time (w/ photos) - with the hope of repainting the aircraft to being exactly as it was then, ahead of the event next year.
