I post this for Carl; I don't think there is any Sea Fury at Beijing's Datangshan aeronautical museum but there may be other locations?

Hi Folks
I'm a Canadian aviation historical researcher and am working on a project about Canadian airmen and airwomen in the Korean War. One Canadian pilot was flying Sea Furies with the Royal Navy from HMS Theseus and was shot down over North Korea. He made a great wheels-up landing and was rescued by a USN helicopter. The Sea Fury was virtually undamaged. It could have been destroyed by either friendly forces from the air or enemy troops. However, it could have been salvaged by the Chinese and ultimately put into a museum. Does anyone know of a Sea Fury in a Chinese aviation museum??
thanks

Been researching Sea Fury survivors for several months for a series of articles in Classic Wings, haven't come across any examples in China. Have good Russian connections who have been behind the scenes there, and no mention of a SF in store.

Another AD? Or have they changed the display? Looks like a different one..

A Hiller OH-23 I hadn't seen before. I've yet to see full photos of the
basement birds collection. My understanding of tourist comments is they
rush you thru the museum, but stop to feature US atrocities or "fearless leader"
