Look at the bright side: At least the US Navy didn't get to blow it out of the sky as a missile target.

Hi,

Think it's a Fiat G-91, not a F-86 Sabre

I think it is a Sabre, perhaps a Cl-13B in vintage Frecce Tricolori colors...Fiat has similar look, bigger wing fences, and a different canopy....

Any idea of exactly where, and what serial she is....? With a new right wing she may be saveable!

It's a Sabre 4 (F-86E(M)), definitely NOT a G.91!!! Frecce Tricolori flew the Sabre prior to the G.91, hence the colour scheme.

I think it may be one of the aircraft at Rivolto AB until 10 or more years ago. Would very much like to know more!

I don't have my copy of 'European Military Out of Service' at hand, but this (relatively slow-loading) website says it's an F-86EM, real ID currently unknown: http://www.spottingmode.com/wro/location/18791/
It's located in the town of Pozzuoli, which is where the Italian Air Force Academy is (although a few miles to the south-east of where the F-86 is).
