I seem to remember reading something about a flying project to start in the near future, through process of elimination I think it could be this one (info from Goodall):
Mk. II AF929 (to RAAF as A27-247): BOC 24.4.43 : SOC 22.6.48
RAAF Boulder WA: open storage for disposal 1.45/48
to scrap metal dealer’s yard, Kalgoorlie WA .48/66
John Bell, Albany WA .66/72
(fuse. and wing sections recov. from scrapyard .66,
trucked to Albany WA, open storage)
RAAF Association Aviation Heritage Museum of WA,
Bullcreek, Perth WA .72/92
(stored dism. at museum, rest. not commenced)
John Bell/ Whaleworld Museum, Albany WA .92/04
(static rest. project Bullcreek, using stripped hulk of
A27-41/NV-D and other parts ex scrapyards:
project trucked to Albany 5.10.92: not assembled)
Precision Aerospace Productions, Wangaratta VIC 6.04/11
(trucked to Wangaratta VIC 7.04 for rest. to fly, plus
parts collection to rest. 3 Vengeances: stored 07)

Cool! Has the NMUSAF or Pima expressed any interest in building up one of these for display?

As information over about five or six decades on the parts of the three Vultee Vengeances now with Mr Richard Greinert is not quite correct, I thought it needs to be updated. The aircraft are A27-41 and A27-247 and A27-232. But only parts of two fuselages were recovered. John Bell has been mentioned as the collector of these parts. This is correct up to a point, the other collectors were the volunteers of the Aviation Historical Group (A.H.G.) in Perth,W.A. They collected Wright Cyclone Engines, Undercarriage legs, hubs, wheels, canopies, fuselage, wing, etc, etc, The reason all the parts went to Precision Aerospace Productions at Wangaratta, was because a three way signing by the owners Jill Bell ( widow of John Bell ) and Bob Bunney CEO of the R.A.A.F. Association in Perth and the person the parts were going to Murray Griffith in April/May 2004. It was stated the parts were to be used as pattern parts to build a flying aircraft and at the finish were to be returned to the R.A.A.F. Association at their expense. Unfortunately that has not happened.

Thankyou DADE
That is very interesting information.....
I wonder whether it was a similar deal with the Kingfisher as that came from one of those original owners to

The Vought Kingfisher floatplane was entirely owned by John Bell. It is in New Zealand being rebuilt for an American owner. While the Consolidated Catalina was owned according to correspondence I have seen by the owners of Whaleworld at Albany. W.A.
