The annual celebration of aviation at the Anoka County Airport is set for next weekend, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The event will include helicopter rides and homebuilt, vintage and Warbird aircraft. The Golden Wings Museum will be open for tours, and there will be model airplane demonstrations and displays. Pancake breakfast and lunch also will be offered both days. An evening hangar dance will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday night.
The event is at the south end of the Anoka County Airport, just off Highway 10 between Interstate 35W and Minnesota 65. For more information, visit
