Iclo - I know he flies most of the planes and even does quite a bit of film flying just as Steve does, but outside of that, he keeps a pretty low profile. That was my point. If you search "Steve Hinton brother" on Google, it brings up plenty about Steveo, but nothing about John. In fact, although I know he has a SAG card and has several movie credits, if you search "John Hinton", it comes up with very little, even after several pages. That's what I meant by my post.

He does maintain a very low profile. Interestingly, John Hinton just got married in the pits at the Reno Air Races last week to his long time girlfriend. It is pretty cool that he had a "warbird-themed" wedding. If you know where to look, you can find pictures of this on the internet. Normally though, John has zero presence on social media, other than what others post about him on their social media accounts.

That is kind of curious considering the Plane of Fame had very little involvement in the races except race control.

Along with 40 years of serious family involvement in Air Racing, and multiple family Reno Championships, John Hinton is a regular in the back seat of the pace plane. Pretty serious involvement in Reno, I'd say...
