Did a little snooping on Freeman’s Abandoned Fields site and it was El Mirage Field. There’s an image of Fertile Myrtle there.

Did some digging too & found this. Stoney's hangar in the movie was originally Pancho's, then used for storage by General Atomics. but now looking a bit derelict:
