So I think we're all pretty sure what it is now:

My vote is for it to be the Stuka. Would love to know there’s a complete and airworthy JU-87 in the world somewhere. If I wer3 betting money, I’d say the Me-262. It’s been close for a few years.

A change to my earlier prediction: heart says Stuka, head says 262.

I'm just excited that they're finally talking about the Stuka!

It will be exciting seeing the Me-262 unveiled (if it is the one for the 10th or not), as it is fully painted now, and I believe both engines are installed by now too. No photos have been allowed to be shown/published of it since it was painted so that it will be a surprise when it is unveiled.

I just can't see them just announcing the ME262 as their new artefact. The FHCAM Facebook page has already been talking about when they're receiving the aircraft and when Steve Hinton is due to be doing the test flying. Plus, they have now made it public knowledge that they are recognising they have a Stuka under restoration. So, I'm going for the Stuka as the new artefact. I hope, hope, hope I'm right! :D

The FHC collection teased Facebook readers with both the Me-262 and the Stuka for the reveal. I cannot imagine the Stuka being complete at this time, but maybe coming together. They have two CASA 2.111, one still in storage in the UK. And it was mentioned a while ago that they acquired a Ju-88 and the Betty from Planes of Fame.

No rumor or status on the Fw-189?

For an encore to the 262, and now that they know how to redesign the engines, they need to restore an He-162. That would be really cool!

It's not the engine we're worried about...

I was at Hendon a month or so ago and saw the -162 there. The thing is amazingly small for a WWII combat aircraft.

A very neat aircraft.

I'm sure it would be possible to build a replica with modern glues. After all, it was designed for high volume production by semi-skilled labor.

It's not the engine we're worried about...

Yes Winkle Brown test flew it and gave the captured German mechanics a heart attack by rolling it..

I've always thought a '162 would be a neat homebuilt...but I don't know if there is an appropriate engine.
Perhaps a target drone engine, or one of the Continential/Turbomeca J69 off a T-37. Perhaps a Viper would work, IIRC it was designed for a target drone.

Or you could just buy a Cirrus Jet and wear a Luftwaffe leather jacket. :)

He also said it flew pretty well, from what I recall. Still, not sure it's a prime candidate for reviving from the dead. Didn't it have an ejection seat, with all the problems that brings?

The museum posted a preview video of the new hangar. (not yet finished) Stuka confirmed

Wow, I really had my money on the 262. Either way that's fantastic. Something tells me that FHCAM might want to acquire a Val and maybe a Dauntless to compliment their growing dive bomber collection.
