Global Flyer flies to Udvar-Hazy May 23

"Members of the public who wish to see the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer make its final flight before going on display in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center are invited to the Center on Tuesday, May 23. The aircraft is scheduled to land at 2 PM, barring weather delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
Global Flyer will be piloted by adventurer and record-breaking pilot Steve Fossett, who is expected to fly the aircraft over the Center once or twice before landing at Washington Dulles International Airport. After landing, Fossett will taxi over to the Udvar-Hazy Center's south tarmac, where a short ceremony will take place.
Members of the public will have an excellent view from the Udvar-Hazy Center's parking lot and sidewalks.
Global Flyer will go on permanent display inside the Udvar-Hazy Center soon after its arrival on May 23."

I thought that the Global Flyer "flew" for the last tmie leaving AirVenture last year?
That is what we were told at the air show anyways, when it took off.

I recall hearing that there were no more flights planned after Oshkosh, but that changed... Steve Fossett flew the Global Flyer around the globe on two more record flights after Oshkosh, one in February, and once in March.
