Yes, Steve is correct - it was a takeoff and they were doing a formation takeoff with the PT-26 in the number 2 slot. Lorén took the shot primarily for the photog in the back seat of the BT-13 and only noticed the pilot position when processing the image to post. I took a few shots of the pilot/owner Hunter "Hurricane" Reiley getting the photog settled in and heading out for the shoot. I was roaming the warbird trainer parking area and she was posted on the E/W Runway that morning.
