That is pretty low to steal those. I hope they are recovered and some Texas justice handed out to the perps.

When they are found, I say the thieves should be strapped to a prop and the engine started.....

How many P-38 props are left out there? There can't be that many so if a pair suddenly show up you would have figure they are the stolen pair, wouldn't you?

When they find the thieves, sew each one into a burlap bag with a sedated bobcat, then sit back and grab a beer.

The Edwards family has a lot of money to hire detectives. Just look at who has been there and what trucks, etc. A truck driver might not know the value of the items he’s picking up. They also have to figure out how long they’ve been gone. Tex could’ve sold them years ago but they’re still listed on inventory.

From the details posted on book of face, it sounds like an inside job. :?
The propellers were reportedly still in the crates, located in a specific spot in the warehouse and that was all that went missing.

The propellers were still there on May 7-8, 2019 when a complete photographic inventory of all of the aviation assets were taken for exactly this reason.

There's only so many places that they're gonna turn up. Hopefully the thieves don't panic and dispose of them once they figure out they can't be sold. Some people are such trash.

I saw them in the crates in May as well.

How many P-38 projects are in need of a set of props?
