Scott - By all means, feel free to use some photos for the registry. It's the least I can do to support WIX!

Guys - the "Emily" doesn't live on Tokyo anymore. It's been moved WAY South. Ironically, the hotel we are housed in for the gig is within walking distance of the Maritime museum where the "Emily" lived for a long time!! ARGHHHHH! I'd LOVE to see the "Emily" but I honestly don't know if I can afford to fly down on my day off. We'll see, but NO promises!

Today is the controversial Tokyo War Museum, the Yushukan (Zero, Judy, Artillery and a tank) and maybe the Museum of Science and Nature (Zero)

OD/NG - Sorry, I have NO information beyond what you can see in the photos! Our Japanese is rudimentary at best and no one on staff spoke English. Mrs VB was lucky to find out that L was the biggest T-Shirt size so any museum or project info is far beyond our capabilities - sorry!

2 more museums scheduled for tomorrow's day off - I'll get them processed and posted as soon as I can.

I think that early Asian aviation is very underrepresented. Partly due to political sentiment I'm sure, but Asia has a rich history. China was also an early adopter of aviation that not many people, including those in China, are aware of.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! Asian aviation is severely underrepresented in museums around the world, including China and Japan. I wish there were more "multi-billionaire" types of individuals in China and Japan, i.e.- an Asian Paul Allen, or Rod Lewis type - who have the desire to start a "warbird movement" by restoring several one of a kind types. That might motivate more of the Asian population to care about their rich aviation history.
