I think that early Asian aviation is very underrepresented. Partly due to political sentiment I'm sure, but Asia has a rich history. China was also an early adopter of aviation that not many people, including those in China, are aware of.
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! Asian aviation is severely underrepresented in museums around the world, including China and Japan. I wish there were more "multi-billionaire" types of individuals in China and Japan, i.e.- an Asian Paul Allen, or Rod Lewis type - who have the desire to start a "warbird movement" by restoring several one of a kind types. That might motivate more of the Asian population to care about their rich aviation history.
