Back in the late '90s I lived at Ft. Meade and visited the academy frequently...(Especially to visit the Naval Institute bookstore)...there was a float equipped N3N hanging above the ice rink.
I believe that's the example in the NASM.

Yes, the float-N3N is at Udvar Hazy, positioned above the SR-71

I was really disappointed they moved the N3N out. I never understood why given its link to Naval Academy history. It's not like it was the only N3N floatplane left in the world.

I remember when I first saw the N3N way back during plebe summer when we first went into Dahlgren Hall. I'd never seen an N3N in the flesh before, and my eyes couldn't help but wander. Of course I got caught looking, and was made to stand there and keep looking at it, while the rest of my squad was told to drop and do pushups...

My understanding is that what is now the marina, across the Severn, was originally the seaplane base. I only remember a single A-4, by the observatory. But, it's been nearly 30 years.

EDIT: found this information, under "Annapolis Naval Air Facility"

They also had the Zero moved out when I was there recently. It was in one of the outer buildings and was only partially visible. Could not go in and see it.
