Has anyone ever read about cooling problems with the 3350s on the XB-19 as on the B-29?

I was at Chino many years ago - early 1990s - and in one of the fenced-in storage areas of interesting bits and pieces was a forward fuselage-cockpit of a large US bomber that my memory has was marked (with chalk?) "B-19." My memory must be wrong on this, as I have never heard of anything that matches my memory. Anybody have an idea? No, I did not take pictures!

I think they had a B-17 fuselage (not the complete B-17 out front) there at one time and they still have a B-50 fuselage.

No, but being bigger, draggier, and heavier than the B-29 I imagine performance was nothing to brag about.
