Mustang whereabouts.

Sun Mar 01, 2020 1:06 pm

Does anyone know where P-51D "Ho Hun" is calling home these days? And better still, is it currently airworthy?

On the same subject. Does anyone know of footage of Bill Hane's displays somewhere on the net? I seem to remember reading back in the day that he included hammerhead stalls in his performances.

Looking at the last ownership entries, I did a quick obituary search.

I shall admit that I wasn't aware of this one!

The aircraft is based at the Lake Havasu City Airport, and from what has been stated on Facebook, last year, the aircraft remains owned by Bill Hane's widow, Marci, and continues to be flown by Ralph Rina. The most recent photos I've seen of it flying were all taken in 2017, around which time it also received some work at GossHawk Unlimited.
