South of Phoenix is directly on the surface of the sun, you wouldn't be able to see it anyhow.

You all ready have DM there, you get a airshow everyday with almost everything that military flies going there sometime.
All we have in Phx is the F-16, F-35, KC-135, and every once in a while a C-17 or KC-10 stopping in at Luke.

It does look like the flight path will take them just south of my house.

I'm half way between PHX and TUS. We have CBP helos and whatever airline is sending another bird to add to the mothball fleet at MKZ.
So yeah, surface of the sun is fair.

I just seen on the news a flyover salute with two B-52's out of Barksdale AFB in Louisiana had a minor snafu. A panel fell off one of the B-52's and landed in someone's yard. We do not have any flyover salutes in our area in northern MI....I would like to see one.

Looks like we in the Phoenix area will be getting a vintage fly over as well. Appears that the CAF Arizona Wing will be taking the B-17, B-25, and C-47 out for a spin around town on Friday the 8th.
