Somebody gave this to me many years ago. It is artwork that appears to be painted onto a piece of finished wood-like material 14"x18". It could be a 445th BG B-24 depicted based on the tail markings. It appears to be unfinished with no markings on the scroll except the outline of an "8" circled at the top...possibly indicative of an 8th AF insignia. The very top marking says "Property of Tony Harkalais." Searches of that last name in ancestry.com shows just a couple of individuals in military service with no obvious matches for AAF or first name. It was reported to me when I was given the artwork that is was done by a relative in the military...no chance at this point to get further information from the person who gave it to me. I thought it worth putting this before the brain trust to see if anyone recognizes the artwork as resembling any known nose art or can provide any other clues.

And if Tony wants it back, let me know.
