Wow, love those pics of the "guys". They don't make men like that anymore. I wish people dressed and kept haircuts like that these days. People seem to change over the years. People today are a lot bigger and taller.

Love the wonderful pictures of the P-40s-my favorite airplane ever!

Definitely reviving an older thread here.
I think I bought some of these slides of the 57th Pursuit Group in early 1942. I would love to see those posted here as they are no longer visible. I did some research on P-40E 40-499 featured here. It eventually went to the 99th FS and was crashed by none other than Benjamin O. Davis.
