It's in the hangar at American Aero.

Anybody have any pics or videos of it coming into the airport?

I was at American Aero yesterday and it is not at the shop. It is still being prepped for ferry.

It is at Accessible Aviation in Columbus, MS and photo credit to Carl Nuzzo

Did we ever get the full story on how the nose got banged up?

Pretty sure that was covered... IIRC, something to the tune of loss of brakes and rolling into something.

Back when that happened, someone had posted a photo on another site with her nose smashed in. The comment section below was full of "whats and wheres" with one speculator offering that the -17 had suffered a bird strike. With the lack of feathers and the amount of damage, I thought to myself, where did they find a pterodactyl to run into?

The new plexi nose on the B-17 looks fantastic. The guys in Columbus, MS do some outstanding work.

Witchcraft paint sure looks faded, wasn't the paint buffed out a while back.
