NEW....fiberglass on a stick anyone?
Curious which molds are used. They are showing older units in now closed old D Tallichet restaurants.

Couldn’t you by a project for about that?

The ad states "Buyers Choose $250,000.00" Does that mean each replica is $250,000.00?

I messaged John T about these recently. He was quoting them at $200,000 each. Best of luck with having someone find the funds for these.
Some of us at the CASC would love to acquire a fiberglass Corsair and mount her on the pedestal where the original once sat. But with a price tag like 200k, we might be better off finding the most accurate RC plans, and blowing them up to 1:1 scale and build it out of wood and sheet it in aluminum.

The molds were made one of by David Tallichet's companies. I think the P-47 used for the mold is the one that is with West-Pac in Colorado Springs now. At the time I think the replicas were being offered at around $100K. The radial-engine ones were more expensive because the engine details required a lot more work to make.

I used to drive past the location they made those at in Ontario, CA. It was in the industrial area just south of the airport and occasionally I would catch a glimpse of something interesting in the yard. This was probably late 80's to mid 90's.
