Interested in the Stinson L-5?

Tue Mar 02, 2021 8:26 pm

The club is back in operation. Our leader, James (Jim) Gray, has reconstituted the organization in online format. Jim has dedicated over 20 years of his life to the care and documentation of these aircraft. Membership levels start at free but a basic membership can be gotten for $35.00 a year. As a 18-year owner of a Stinson L-5, I can't say how much being affiliated with this club has positively assisted me in ownership of the aircraft. I highly recommend it. Jim has been writing regularly for a few weeks now and showing his incredible knowledge of the Stinson L-5 and everything Liaison. The writing is superb, and you will find information there that you will not find any where else.

Type clubs are usually a good source of information and ideas. the Ercoupe has several very good sites. I run the Ercoupe Discussion Group on facebook. Our group has several pre war coupes, and even one in Lithuania

Our Director of Maintenance at VFM just bought an OY-1 a couple of weeks ago. I'll pass on the web site address to him. I'm sure he'll find it interesting.
