Flying a Spitfire with a Corsair at an Airshow

Sat Mar 06, 2021 7:16 pm

I put this up today. The editing was somewhat bittersweet, since the Corsair suffered a landing accident a year later and the rebuild has not yet started (insurance wrangles). That Big Blue Bird was out in front many, many times.

Anyway, I'm glad I had the camera on for at least this one show. I lost many opportunities before I learned to carry a hand-mirror in a flight-suit pocket so I could see if the "Recording" light was actually on.

Another cracking video, many THANKS! You really do make the very best vids because of the "insider's tips" you give. And I laughed out loud at "Hey look, a Corsair, let's follow it!"

You need to copy the 'embed' code from the Youtube share options into the tags on this forum. A lot of forums allow the use of the link itself and can parse this (either with or without Youtube tags), but not this particular one...
