I haven't heard an update lately (since the virtual demise of the Key publishing forum).
Are they still planned on flying it?
If so, when?

Yes, they are planning on flying it, but it is a number of years away. Every year they take a different part of the plane and restore it. There is still a lot to do on the aft fuselage, but they need to run the taxi rides to get funds for the next portion of the restoration.

They pull bits apart every year and put it back again ready for the Northern Summer so they can earn some $$ for the next lot of maintenance.
