Local spotting group just posted on FB a schedule showing the Snowbirds and CF-18 demo team being at Willow Run June 12-13. Anyone heard anything on that?

there was talk of something happening that day and they have done a snowbird event like this in the past. No real details from YAM yet.

Interesting show, never been much of a SB fan because of the weak jets they fly, but no doubt fly some great formations and maneuvers, as does the F-18.
Show was much different SAT to SUN, was an F-86 there today which simply took off and left, same with a Skyraider. Didn't fly SAT, not sure why they were even there.
Also what appeared to be an S-2 Tracker took off and left.

Those aircraft were at Wings and Wheels, which was a totally separate event held by YAM.

Seriously, as tightly shut as the border to the Great White North is these days, I wouldn't have expected them to come down here to the US...

They staged out of Windsor and just flew over and back. The YAM C-47 picked up the few crewmembers who had to be on the ground, and then flew them back after. Similar to how London worked last year with everything basing out of Selfridge.
