What Was Flying Near Rockledge, Florida, Yesterday?

Mon Jul 05, 2021 12:16 pm

I have a friend on another board (non-aviation) who saw a "WWII bomber" in the air yesterday near Rockledge, Florida. He said it had invasion stripes and thinks it was a B-26 Marauder, but I'm kinda doubting that. I think he probably saw a B-25, A-26, or maybe even a C-47. Anyone have any idea what might have been in the air near there yesterday (July 4)? Thanks!

Looks like what my friend saw was VAC's C-47 Tico Belle, which was flying in the area yesterday.
