Saw Georgia Mae over my house landing at YIP. Seems very early for it to arrive for the show. I know there is going to be terrible weather at OSH. Any ideas?

'Miss Mitchell' just flew over my house a little while ago, on its way back to its home airport in Minnesota, having been at Oshkosh as well (perhaps getting out of Dodge, ahead of the severe weather forecast for the night).

Yep, headed out before the weather. Probably no use in bringing her all the way back to Alabama so they'll have her at YIP 'til next week!

Where the Texan IIs dropped? They are no longer on the schedule.

Angels were flying today, will be at the practice sessions starting WED.

TFR's are only Thursday - Sunday, and the Blues were originally supposed to show up Thursday so they are probably sticking to that schedule.

No, as stated, Blues were flying yesterday.
They are in town, am guessing they flew in and buzzed the field a bit, my niece said they were all over the place. Or maybe it was #7 checking things out, whatever the case I have seen WED practices before.

Nothing exciting happened. It took Blue Angel 5, 5 times to get ahold of Willow Run Tower. Once Tower heard who was coming in, They told them fly at 200-300ft and fly a mile north then make a left downwind for 05L. BA 7 flew over the airport after everyone landed, probably to do some Air to Ground photos and/or checking out the airfield.

Part of their prep is flying the area looking for landmarks and such to pick out for markers during their routine.

Very little action today, Angels were there but only #7 flew, took of with a high perf climb and landed half an hour later. Assumed it was a PR flight but there didn't appear to be anyone in the back seat as he taxied by.
Also, Tbird #8 flew did 2 passes on a survey flight, then headed to Selfridge.
